Homework
Each student will need to read 20-30 minutes every night in a book of their choice.  Reading nightly, even for a short time, increases vocabulary.  Please check your son or daughter's agenda each evening for any additional homework assignments.  Students will use the Whooo's Reading program to answer questions and take quizzes on books that they read.
Image shows student A reads 20 min each night. Student B reads 4 min each night. Student A will have read the equivalent of 60 whole school days and Student B will have read the equivalent of only 12 school days. One would expect the gap of information retained will have widened considerably so, undoubtedly, will school performance.
