Welcome to Team Titanium 8th Grade Math!!
Welcome to 8th Grade Math!
I am so excited for you/your student to be in my class this year!  It is going to be a great year in 8th grade math!!  This is my 8th year of teaching, and my third year at Newton-Conover.  I graduated from UNC Greensboro in May 2010 and UT Arlington in December 2012.  Catawba County is home and I am so excited to be back after being in the mountains for five years!!  My goal for this year is to help your student be as successful as they can be while also pushing them to solve complex problems and understand the steps it takes and how this will relate to their lives today and into the future!

Students should expect homework each night throughout the week.  There will be times when homework is not given every night, but students should be studying and reviewing their notes/examples on these nights.  Daily homework information can be received through my remind account or by clicking on the homework link on the right.  The information for this is below.  Homework is essential for students to be able to practice the skills they have learned and are learning in order to grow and become as successful as possible throughout the school year!!
