Ms. White's Webpage

Welcome to my page! I teach seventh grade mathematics, and I have been teaching at Newton-Conover Middle School for 15 years.  I am a graduate of NCHS and Appalachian State University.  I was raised in Newton and now live in Conover.  My dad, Jim Stockner, was the band director for our school system for thirty years before retiring, and my mom, Trilby Stockner, was an employee of CVCC, the business department, before her retirement.

Education is definitely my passion!  Our students must be prepared for college and for the jobs of the future.  It is my sincere hope that I can spark a love for learning in my students, as well as helping them see the need for a good education.

You may contact me at if you have any questions.

Students will complete their assignments daily in an interactive notebook.  The majority of our assignments will be done in class.  When homework is assigned or if there is a test, students will write this in the math section of their agenda.
