I am excited to join the Red Devil Family as Assistant Principal! My favorite thing about education is watching students grow throughout the year! Serving at the middle school level is a new adventure for me and I count myself blessed to lead the world changers at Newton-Conover Middle School.

This is my 10th year in education. I received my bachelors degree from Appalachian State University in 2013. I began my teaching career at East Iredell Elementary in Statesville, NC and have been part of the Newton-Conover City schools family since 2020. I joined the NC Principal Fellows program to pursue a Master's degree in School Administration in 2022 through Appalachian State University.

My husband, Shawn, and I live in Statesville with our twin boys. We are die hard Duke Basketball fans and enjoy cheering on the Florida State Seminoles during football season. We are also Chicago Bears fans. As a family we love hiking, playing board games, and attending football games. I love to read, shop and try to be a gardener.
