Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for this week. Monday-Enrichment, Tuesday-Advisory, Wednesday-Family, and Thursday-Easter Egg Hunt and Field Day. Our 10th graders will be attending STEM Trek on Wednesday afternoon. More information concerning this will be sent home on Monday. Spring Break will be Friday April 18th - Sunday April 27th. Our Science Olympiad Team will be competing at the state competition Friday April 25th and Saturday April 26th. Best of luck to these students!! Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend. Thanks to everyone for your support for our Spring BBQ on Friday. We were able to raise roughly $3900 which will go towards different supplies for our students to use at DHS. Below are the announcements for the week. On Tuesday, our sophomores will be traveling to ASU for a tour. Those students should plan to be at school by 7:30 to allow us plenty of travel time so we can arrive in Boone by 9:00. Our Junior/Senior prom will be on Saturday at The Barn at Coley Creek. If you have any questions or need to purchase a ticket, please see Ms. Ward. They did an amazing job with the musical this weekend. Our students are extremely talented. A shout out also to our Envirothon team and our DHS/NCHS Battle of the Books team for qualifying for states this past week. Below are the announcements for this week. We will have Enrichment-Monday, March Madness Championship Game-Tuesday, Advisory-Wednesday, Family-Thursday, and BBQ-Friday.
