Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend. Thanks to everyone who supported our BBQ fundraiser on Friday. We made a little over $5000!! This will go towards supplies for students, teachers and classrooms. Thanks also to those of you who were able to give blood on Thursday. The National Honors Society met their goal which will help many people who are in need of a blood transfusion. Below are the announcements for this week.
On Tuesday, all honors Biology students will be taking a Case 21 assessment during 2nd period. On Wednesday, all year long English 2 students will be taking a Case 21 assessment during 1st period. These two assessments will help Mr. Scronce and Ms. Ward see where their students are before the EOCs.
I encourage everyone to come out and see the Little Shop of Horrors musical on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Ms. Isaac and the students have been working extremely hard preparing for this. More information about the show can be found on this flyer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IpYG1YtHqg9nx5D-Kf9x93AYRHlpZUSl/view?usp=drive_link.
This week's Character Awards can be found at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rBaq03oGOXj8jx_V4O9iuV2Tb9dRRGrS/view?usp=sharing.
