Good evening, N-CMS Red Devil Family!
Here are your announcements for the week of May 11–15, 2026.
First, I want to take a moment to thank all of the parents and community members who brought items, snacks, meals, treats, and other gifts to our school last week in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week. You did an amazing job making our staff feel appreciated, and we are truly grateful for your support.
Congratulations to our Lady Red Devil Soccer Team for capping off an undefeated season and claiming their back-to-back conference championship! We are proud of Coach Painchaud, Coach Rangel, and the entire team for this outstanding accomplishment.
Please note that May 21 is an early release day, and N-CMS will dismiss at 11:00 a.m. Car riders must be picked up by 11:30 a.m. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
This week marks the start of End-of-Grade (EOG) testing. Students need to get a good night’s rest, eat breakfast, and come to school ready to do their best. It is critical that students attend school on their designated testing days. If a student is absent on a scheduled testing day, they must attend school on a designated makeup or retest day.
Attendance remains important throughout the remainder of the school year. It is critical that students attend school on their designated testing days. Absences on both testing and non-testing days will be recorded on a student’s attendance record and may affect recognition of perfect attendance and athletic eligibility at the middle school level. To remain eligible for fall sports at N-CMS next school year, student-athletes must not exceed 13 excused or unexcused absences during this semester.
EOG testing will take place from May 11 through May 20. Please review the testing schedule in this week’s school email, on our Facebook page, or on our school website. Please contact the school if you have any questions regarding EOG testing.
Thank you for your continued support of N-CMS, and have a great week!
