Good afternoon 8th-grade parents. Tomorrow night is the 8th-grade semi-formal at Conover Station from 5-8 p.m. Students that plan to attend the dance must be marked present for the school day in order to attend. Students not counted as present for the school day or leave early to go home sick will not be allowed to attend the dance.  Due to the location of Conover Station, parents will need to drop off and pick up their child by entering Conover Station from 3rd St. SE, which runs alongside Concordia Lutheran Church and should use the entrance next to the Conover Splash pad on 5th Ave. SE. For drop-off, students can just be dropped off by the entrance, where staff members will be present and awaiting students. Parents are not permitted to enter the dance. Parents must park for pick-up, and students will come to them. Remember, Conover Station is home to several local businesses, so there will be foot and vehicle traffic for those businesses in addition to traffic for the dance. Law enforcement will be present for the duration of the dance.  No outside food or drinks will be permitted into the dance.   That is all for this announcement. We hope that your student enjoys the dance!
